Fighting out of New Jersey, Price made a stunning pro debut in 2017 where he KO’d his opponent one-minute into the first round. He recently participated on the exciting Wilder vs. Breazeale undercard, where he defeated Manual Salvador Manzo by technical knockout in the fifth round and earned another “W” by unanimous decision in Baltimore on the Davis vs. Nunez undercard. He will be opposed by 24-year-old Filipino boxer Borres, who is coming off of two consecutive unanimous decision wins and making his debut in the states.
Flyweights, Knight and Torroba seek to settle a mutual debt as their previous contest in February of this year ended in a draw. Knight, who now fights out of Las Vegas, has since gone the distance to defeat Crystal Hoy in Memphis back in May. The Chino Hills native and now Las Vegas resident hasn’t seen defeat since 2013, while the tough Argentinean is going after her first victory since 2017. In their previous bout Knight suffered a cut above her left eye after an accidental clash of heads that forced an early end to the eight-round matchup. By California rules, the official result was a technical draw.
Baltimore prodigy Malik Warren recently joined the Mayweather Promotions’ stable and will be making his debut under the company’s banner against Arkansas native Shauney Perry who will be making his debut in the professional ranks. The pair will be competing in a scheduled four-round super featherweight bout that will lead up to the ShoBox quadruple header. The 19-year-old’s pro-debut was a second-round TKO over Davonte McCowen on the undercard of his stablemate Gervonta Davis’ homecoming event in their hometown of Baltimore on July 27.
