WHAT: Fans around the globe can catch an early sneak peek of INSIDE MAYWEATHER VS. PAUL, a 30-minute immersive special that takes viewers inside the lives of both superstars, in its entirety now on the SHOWTIME Sports YouTube Channel ahead of tonight’s linear premiere on SHOWTIME (9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT).
INSIDE MAYWEATHER VS. PAUL raises the hype of the blockbuster event to a new level, as the SHOWTIME cameras embed with the 44-year-old Mayweather, a 2020 International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, in Las Vegas as he readies himself for the exhibition bout. The cameras also follow the hugely popular Paul as he goes through a rigorous training camp in Puerto Rico and attempts to shock the world on June 6.
In anticipation of the June 6 SHOWTIME PPV, MORNING KOMBAT’S Brian Campbell traveled to Puerto Rico to visit Paul at his training camp for an exclusive interview, also available on the SHOWTIME Sports YouTube Channel.
“It’s going to take 44 years of Floyd’s life for him to be humbled,” Paul tells Campbell. “On June 6, we’re going to find out why there’s weight classes in boxing. I’m not some guy going in there and tapping you. I don’t have pillow hands.”
Tonight’s premiere of INSIDE MAYWEATHER VS. PAUL immediately precedes a SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING tripleheader headlined by WBC Bantamweight World Champion Nordine Oubaali and future Hall of Famer Nonito Donaire meeting in a long-awaited championship showdown.
